In recent years the garment industry in Myanmar has come under the international spotlight on account of Myanmar’s continued political and economical changes, and the reinstatement of tax breaks for imports from Myanmar by the European Union has attracted more investors.

Formerly Japan and South Korean were the major players but now organizations from Europe and the USA as well as multinational corporations are making their presence felt in Myanmar.

Currently the garment industry in Myanmar has just started to bloom and in order to attain sustainable quality of ’’Made in Myanmar” products EFR has implemented a quality control center to fill in the quality requirements in the Myanmar garment industry. We have standardized our inspection procedures in adherence to Japanese standards.
