Position                     : Corporate Legal Manager (M/F -1 Post)

 

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Legal Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves providing expert legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our business operations with strategic and operational legal guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to navigate complex legal issues with integrity and efficiency.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Ø  Provide legal advice, conduct contract reviews, and draft agreements for all sectors, departments, and channels of Ever Flow River Group Public Company Limited.

Ø  Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies, risk management protocols, and regulatory standards.

Ø  Maintain and periodically update a repository of standard contract templates to reflect best practices and legal developments as needed.

Ø  Support business growth by offering compliance policies and strategic and operational legal guidance to Board Members and Department Heads.

Ø  Prepare, review, and manage legal documents related to corporate governance, compliance, and operational matters.

Ø  Develop and standardize legal documents such as contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminations to streamline processes and ensure uniformity.

Ø  Collaborate with the Sourcing Department to provide legal support during negotiations with local and international vendors.

Ø  Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising the company on necessary actions to maintain compliance.

Ø  Manage legal operating budgets and costs, including external legal fees, to ensure efficient use of resources where applicable.

Ø  Lead the management of key litigations/arbitrations and liaise with external legal counsels to protect the company's interests.

Ø  Conduct training sessions for employees on relevant legal issues, compliance requirements, and company policies.

Ø  Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Finance, and Operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to legal and regulatory matters.

Ø  Foster a collaborative and compliance-oriented culture within the organization, managing, leading, motivating, and monitoring the team as key aspects of the corporate management role.

 

Job Requirements:

Ø  Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Ø  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a legal firm or in-house corporate legal department.

Ø  Advanced knowledge and understanding of the business and industry.

Ø  Advanced knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and commercial law, including country-specific laws.

Ø  Proficient in verbal and written communication in both English and Myanmar Language, with a strong understanding of English legal terms.

Ø  Proven ability to create defensive and proactive legal strategies and provide innovative solutions to legal challenges.

Ø  High level of integrity and ability to work independently, under pressure, and respond to legal queries within specified timeframes.

Day Off                : Saturday, Sunday and Public Holliday

Allowance           : Ferry Provided, Phone Bill Allowance, yearly bonus (Other allowance)
