Legal Executive -1 post



We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Executive to support our Legal & Compliance department. Act as the operational backbone of the team by handling contract management, regulatory compliance tracking, and litigation support to safeguard the organization's business interests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Contract Management: Draft, vet, and review standard contracts, NDAs, and service agreements, maintaining a centralized repository to track renewal and termination timelines.

·        Compliance Monitoring: Track statutory filings and monitor daily functional operations to ensure compliance with business, corporate, and labor laws.

·        Internal Query Support: Provide initial reviews and day-to-day legal and regulatory support for routine internal compliance queries from other departments.

·        Legal Research & Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough research on existing and proposed regulations, analyzing incoming documents to flag adverse elements or operational risks.

·        Litigation Tracking & External Liaison: Maintain the internal litigation tracker and liaise with external law firms and state law offices to ensure case instructions, evidence, and witness statements are delivered on time.

·        Secretariat & Administrative Support: Support the board secretarial function by organizing meeting documentation, drafting minutes, and coordinating the organization's internal complaint management system.

·        Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly operational, compliance, and legal reports for the Head of Department.

Qualification And Experience:

·        University graduate with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal degree.

·        Must hold a valid Higher Grade Pleader / Advocate License

·        Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation and handling court cases

·        Strong legal drafting capabilities and proficient in digital legal research methodology and databases.

·        Excellent time-management and organizational skills to handle strict statutory deadlines.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle external liaison and internal stakeholder management.

·        Intermediate computer/Excel skills for legal reporting and tracker upkeep.

·        Willingness to travel

 

 

Other Information:

 

Location         : Tharkayta Township, Yangon.
Office Hours: 09:00AM to 05:00PM (
Monday-Friday)

Day Off           : Saturday,Sunday+Gazetted Holiday.
