Position               : Customer Executive (M/F -1 Post)

 

Are you a motivated and customer-focused professional with strong knowledge of shipping and logistics?

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Executive to join our team.

As a Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for handling both Freehand and Nomination shipments, communicating with carriers, coordinating bookings, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

 

Responsibilities:

ü  Handle both Freehand and Nomination shipments.

ü  Communicate with carriers and file rates for Freehand shipments.

ü  Check contract validity for Nomination shipments.

ü  Perform booking reservations and negotiate space between customers and carriers.

ü  Communicate with customers for booking arrangements, from booking receipt to loading, B/L issuing, invoicing, and payment collection.

ü  Issue invoices and manage payment transfers between customers, carriers, and the finance department.

ü  Track carriers for connecting vessels and provide updates to customers.

ü  Maintain regular contact with customers, carriers, and operations for any updates or changes.

ü  Manage payment receivables and payables.

ü  Handle and resolve customer and POD agent issues.

ü  Follow up on the payment process from customers and coordinate with the finance team.

ü  Input data into Sysfreight for invoicing and maintain Job P&L sheet.

ü  Prepare weekly and monthly job reports and report to the manager.

Requirements:

ü  Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.

ü  Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.

ü  Strong knowledge of Freehand and Nomination shipments.

ü  Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

ü  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.

ü  Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills, proficient in using relevant software and systems.

ü  Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

ü  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers.

ü  Knowledge of finance and invoicing processes.

ü  Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Office Hours        : 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Day Off                : Saturday, Sunday and Public Holliday
